This page is a compilation of some of the frequently asked questions to the Message that we are preaching and corresponding articles and/or videos to answer those questions.
It also is a very solid selection of a lot of different New Covenant teachings from many different people and ministries all over the world. Please share this as much as you can—Truth sets people free!
I have purposely kept just about all of the stuff on HEALING separate from the FOUNDATIONS section simply due to the large amount of bad misconceptions people have of the notion of healing today.
This page is entirely free resources, whether it’s free downloads of audio teachings or video, or PDF files, etc. — if you are interested in book recommendations, you may click here.
Enjoy—go and change the world!

Before sharing with you the resources about healing, there are a few things I want to address.
The issue of physical/emotional healing in the church today is one of the most hotly debated and misunderstood things in the Christian life. Above all things, especially when reading the Bible and dealing with people who are in opposition to the issue, ALWAYS bring it back to Jesus.
He is the expressed perfect will of God and perfectly modeled God’s character, His nature, His will, and His desires towards mankind on earth (Heb. 1:1-3, Col. 1:15).
God does not ‘allow’ sickness.
He passed the ball to us and told us to heal the sick (Matthew 10:8, Luke 10:8-9, Mark 16:15-18).
As I stated, Jesus is the expressed perfect image of God’s will (Heb. 1:3) and the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15) and He never, not once, ‘allowed’ someone to stay sick.
He is willing that none perish, He healed them all, He never changes, and He told the disciples to do the same (2 Peter 3:9, Matthew 4:23-24, Matthew 9:35, Matthew 8:16, Mark 6:56, Luke 9:11, Matthew 10:1, Matthew 10:7-8, Luke 10:8-9, Luke 10:19, Acts 10:38, Heb. 13:8).
When the disciples couldn’t get a boy set free, Jesus put the onus on THEM and their unbelief (Matthew 17:19-20)—not by saying “Oh, God was ‘allowing’ that one. He is sovereign. It’s all about His timing. It must be their thorn in the flesh.”
Check out James 5:14-15:
“Is **anyone** among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer offered in faith ***will*** make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. “
It doesn’t say “if anyone is sick, it might be because God is allowing it to get glory out of it, so just chalk it up to the sovereignty of God and deal with it because He gave it to you to make you a better person.”
Sickness is a work of the devil who only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), not employ them.
It is 100% the responsibility of the CHRISTIAN to get the sick healed—with Christ in us (Gal. 2:20), the fact that we are one spirit with God (1 Cor. 6:17), and the fact that we’ve been given every spiritual blessing in Christ (Eph. 1:3) and everything that we need to live a godly life already (2 Peter 1:3), as well as the fact that we’ve been given the keys to the Kingdom (Matthew 16:19) and that God has given the world to mankind to steward (Psalm 115:16), there is no longer any ability for anyone to blame God for people not being set free.
People perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).
People die and suffer with sickness because they don’t know any better and they don’t know that Christ has redeemed us from the curse (Gal. 3:13) and has already paid for healing through the stripes on His back (1 Peter 2:24).
God’s end of the equation is “IT IS FINISHED” (John 19:30).
So now it is up to us as believers to renew our minds (Romans. 12:1-2) to what we already have, every good thing in Christ (Phil. 1:6), SO THAT we may PROVE and demonstrate the perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
With that being said, on to the resources/answers to questions so you can do just that! (The above “blurb” about healing can be found here as a direct link.)
As I stated above, when we are talking about healing (and frankly, anything in Christianity) we must ALWAYS bring it back to Jesus. The most foundational, sacred-cow-killin’ page we have on this topic is the one that details how Jesus Healed them ALL. Instead of posting this link underneath every question (though I thought about doing so), I will simply post it once. Keep that as a reference point when dealing w/ the other specific issues.
Typical, basic questions (read: accusations) like those below can be easily addressed by bringing the discussion back to Christ.
You will notice that many people will concede and say “Yes, Jesus healed them all…BUT…”
The material below will help you be able to say, “Um, excuse me..you lost me at ‘Jesus, BUT…’ ”and actually be able to stand on what the Bible says about these issues instead of just blindly accepting powerless traditions of man.
I also have posted Andrew Wommack’s series “God Wants You Well” as a very basic, foundational teaching on healing that addresses many of the common lies taught in churches today on the subject.
- “Well, I know God CAN heal…but He doesn’t always Heal…”
- “Well, Jesus didn’t heal everybody, you know. Sometimes He picks people to be healed, and other times He doesn’t. His ways are higher than our ways.”
Foundational Healing Teachings:
——> Jesus Healed them All <——
- “But won’t healing only come in God’s Timing?”
- “But what about Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh?”
- “But Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach..and he left Trophemus sick!”
- “But what about Job? God allowed him to be sick!”
- “God gets glory out of our sicknesses! Look at the man born blind in John chapter 9!”
- “God can’t or won’t heal because of sin in your life…or generational curses…or..”
- “But doesn’t God cause some sicknesses?”
- ‘”Okay fine, but not everybody has the gift of healing…”
- “Why am I not healed?”
- “Okay, I think I get it…so how do I get started?”
